The HealthyW8 Project held its 2nd Annual Meeting in Évora, Portugal, uniting partners and stakeholders for 3 days of collaboration and strategic planning. Hosted by the University of Évora, the meeting reinforced shared goals and set the course for the next phase of the project.

The HealthyW8 Consortium gathered from 14th to 16th May for its 2nd Annual Meeting at the University of Évora, Portugal, bringing together partners, researchers, and stakeholders from across Europe for three days of productive exchange, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Held at the historic Colégio do Espírito Santo, the meeting opened with welcome remarks from representatives of the University of Évora and its key research centres, as well as from the project officer at HaDEA and the project coordinator. Their messages highlighted the importance of scientific cooperation in addressing complex health issues such as obesity.
Throughout the meeting, partners engaged in parallel work package sessions, shared progress, identified challenges, and aligned on next steps. A dedicated discussion with members of the Stakeholder Advisory Board offered valuable external perspectives to help guide the project’s future direction.
The meeting concluded with a general assembly and coordination session, reinforcing shared goals and preparing the ground for the next phase of the project.
The HealthyW8 team extends its sincere thanks to the University of Évora, and in particular to Prof. Elsa Lamy, for their generous hospitality and support in hosting the meeting. With renewed energy and strengthened connections, the consortium is ready to move forward in its mission to support healthier lives across Europe.
